The rating is more on the time of vehicle being in the shop for various reasons. as we are waiting on insurance that the dealership recommends on time of Purchas. (2 and half weeks) back ordering of parts toured GM I take it. once everything was done 10 weeks in we had to revisit twice to get everything hopefully taken care of, as of now the vehicle is running and is in good condition. More frustration is the process (Insurance) again that is sold by the dealership. Knowing the time frame asking for a loaner and getting put on the list keep getting we do not have one.

Considering I was not going to purchase a vehicle that day, things went fairly well. Keep in mind, I have been a Subaru owner for over 20 years and switching to GMC was a huge step for me. Had I known the cargo cover is not included in the cost (was included on my Subaru), I would have requested that be thrown into the final cost. Is it too late to request the cargo cover at no charge to me? That would make me change my rating to a 5!

The drop off and loaner car were great. One of the items on my repair list should have been under warranty. When I came to pick up the truck, I was presented with the bill and I paid it. It was $600+ over the quoted amount and I didn't think much of it but I asked to see the receipt before I left and noted the Actuator repair item was charged $660 (incl tax) and when I asked why it wasn't under warranty I was told my warranty expired at 36,000 miles. I noted that I have the extended warranty and the man researched it, called someone and then confirmed my warranty and gave me a refund. Had I not questioned it, I would be out the $660.00 This is my 4th vehicle with the dealership and everything else has always been great.

Inspection price and process smooth, but oil notice came by the time my wife got home from the app, which upset me since I feel if we needed oil change, we should have been told.... they took us back in, but even with coupon, the oil change was $100, which is way too much when not getting synthetic oil.

I was welcomed in a friendly manner, my questions were answered in a respectful manner and the oil change was done in a timely manner.

Brandon from Star GMC Quakertown went out of his way to locate the vehicle I wanted and delivered it within the week.

Service we went there for was excellent but I figured out that the dealership strongly encouraged me to get services ($1350) that I didn't need. They told me these services were recommended by GMC and necessary to keep my extended warranty intact. After the services were complete (shame on me), I looked at the Owner's Manual and these services are only recommended for 'Severe Service' utilization, which is military, security services, 24hr/day operations, etc. We are not high intensity users and did not need the services recommended. I am holding myself accountable for not doublechecking what the dealership told me as well as the dealership for over recommending services that were not needed. My family's business is car mechanics and its painful for me to admit that this is a 'buyer beware' industry.

My experience was pleasant from start to finish, even though they were very busy. I enjoyed working with my salesman (Josh), the sales manager and even finance (Justin)! I traded in two vehicles on a new truck and would definitely recommend to a friend.

because the extended warranty people dragged their butts i lost the use of my car for 3 days , Tuesday, the first week and Tuesday the second week, and finally Tuesday the third week along with part of wed. that week. first Pete was great, the extended insurance company was a pain this service took a total of 1 month to complete because of them. then on the last service the tech damaged a censor for the battery and i had to wait another day for completion and when i got it back the tech's wrench was in the engine compartment . This dealership gives new meaning to purchasing a truck in the spur of the moment when the odds are not in your favor!! I'm not usually one to give reviews, but this one I had to, because these guys stand out. With truck trouble 1300 mile from home, needing to return and didn't want to wait on repair time, decided to trade trucks. And what a great selection they have, wow! Dylan, my salesperson, stepped up to the plate, organized a great deal in a very timely manner and a super guy to deal with! And then there's the finance guy Justin, very informative and organized, not just there to take your money, also a great person to talk with! Ive bought a lot of new trucks in my lifetime, and I have to say I think this had to be the smoothest, and funnest experience at buying a new vehicle and at a great price that I've ever had! I live over an hr away, so when my truck had an oil leak. I took it to a local dealership trying to get warranty work done there. After them struggling to get the work covered for 3 weeks and me doing most of the calling to the warranty company. I was extremely frustrated! Even though I wasn’t excited about the long drive back to Star. I was so glad I did. When I dropped the truck off I was warned this could be a long process but the service department was an able to get the work covered in just 1 day! I was sooo relieved. Thanks for the great work.

Thank you for completing my annual inspection. I was quoted almost $500 for a replacement battery. I understand you need to make profits, but that's insane. I had to to make the battery purchase elsewhere.

It was easy and smoothly executed

Long story short, I had lifter failure last year they diagnosed the issue and they were replaced. I feel my truck doing the same thing so I made my appointment to have them checked before they fail again. I pull in the garage pull through spot. Matt has to pull my truck forward maybe about 10-15ft. He comes into the waiting room and proceeds to tell me he felt shaking when he drove my truck, reminder about few feet forward, apparently bc the tires that I bought with the vehicle are the bigger tread ones. I said it’s not the tires, it’s the pressing on the gas and it’s not shifting properly I can feel it doing the same thing as last time. That’s the second time I had to explain myself after stating the problem during check in. An hour goes by and he comes in and said the mechanic didn’t feel anything and that there is no codes coming up. Then again proceeds to say the mechanic also felt the “shaking” bc of the tires. I said now this is the third time I’m telling you it’s doing the same thing when I’m accelerating it’s not shifting properly and feels just like it did when the lifters were going. Then proceeds to ask if I’m interested in new tires. I said ABSOLUTELY NOT! So since the check engine light isn’t on and no codes are up there is basically nothing they can do it seems. Which would have been fine, if he didn’t make it seem like my tires are my issue not once but 3 times! I seem to have issues with this mechanic team quite often and I’m getting frustrated! Holly was great with the last issue I had but it becoming repeating makes me not happy at all. I’ve been a loyal customer with Star for a long time, I personally have 4 vehicles I bought plus my dad and my daughter so at least 6. I’m really thinking about trading this truck in and going with another dealership. But Steve has been my go to for every vehicle and Holly was great I don’t want to but it has been on my mind lately.

Top Notch Dealership from the sales guys (Dom) to the Service guys to the body shop guys it was a wonderful experience. Everyone was extremely helpful and personable. I will definitely buy my next car from Star and I have already recommended Star to several friends!!

So everything was great until came time to get paperwork ready. I hate to waste time I came with title to my trade and a check to pay the balance for our new Yukon XL. After agreement on price it took about 3 hrs. to complete the deal. To me a total waste of time. I bought a new 285,000.00 CNC machine last week total of 35 minutes.

Matt in the service department is very helpful and accommodating. However when I need service it’s often hard to get it scheduled.This is the only problem I have. When we lived in NJ we were always a Royal GMC customer for over 30 some odd years and never had any problem getting in for anything we needed done.

Easy to work with. No pressure to buy, all my questions and concerns were answered. I would highly recommend you guys.

The service was expensive but everything went well. I wish GMC would have all the services I completed on my vehicle at the dealer listed on my GM app. That way I would know what services were done in the past and when they were done

inspection was fine and talked to rep they said my rear brakes were starting to get down to replace when questioned he said they had about 20,000 miles left on them and i told them i had replaced the cabin filter . then i get a report about refused service. for those two items does this sound like what you want reported in your records.
